What we're mostly going to advocate for here, just like we suggest with the MCU at large, Star Wars, and the Fox X-Men movies, is to just watch the movies in the order they came out. Luckily, we're fully versed in Marvel's most popular superhero, and all of his big cinematic appearances. Anything is fine-again, there are a lot of these. Maybe you've seen them all, but not in a while, and need a guide to see where the hell to even start. Maybe you have seen them, but missed one here or one there. And it's possible that past worlds, past universes, could be involved. After all, a new movie- Spider-Man: No Way Home-is now out. Since then, Venom and Eddie Brock have been readapted in their own Venom films starring Tom Hardy. Spider-Man 3 is often rated as Sam Raimi’s worst superhero film due to its overabundance of characters and underdeveloped portrayal of Eddie Brock and Venom. Many audience members who saw Spider-Man 3 were disappointed in the film’s portrayal of Venom and Eddie Brock (Topher Grace), resulting in the character's reinterpretation in the 2018 film Venom.
